With the sauna and the jacuzzi we believe it is important to look after you at all times: from the sun, or from anything that used to stop you travelling because of the medical care you need back home.
Both apartments have a home nursing service. It is not a call centre or an app: it is a registered nurse who lives on the island and comes up to your apartment. The Basic plan is included with every booking, at no extra cost.

The person who looks after you has a name
A registered specialist nurse with ten years in hospital and primary care. Always the same person.

Care for the oncology patient
Many people on cancer treatment stop travelling because they do not feel safe leaving their own care network. Here you do not have to. The nurse comes up to the apartment and keeps to your plan exactly as your oncologist set it out.
- Care and heparin flushing of central lines, PICCs and ports
- Your oral and subcutaneous medication, prepared and given according to the written prescription
- Management of nausea, vomiting, mucositis and treatment-related skin problems
- Surgical wound care and stoma care
- Vital signs, weight and a daily record, with a report for your oncologist when you leave
- Apartment prepared before you arrive: fridge space for medication, clear of obstacles and with a sharps container
What we do not do, said plainly: we do not administer chemotherapy or any treatment that has not been prescribed in writing by your doctor, and we are not a replacement for your hospital. Write to us before booking with your oncologist's report and we will tell you frankly whether or not we can look after you properly.
Your medication, prepared at the apartment
If you travel with a complicated regimen — several doses a day, injections, something that has to be kept cold — you do not have to manage on your own. The nurse goes through the prescription on arrival, prepares the week's pill organiser and gives whatever has to be injected.

Who runs it
The service is run by Andrés Severi, a specialist nurse in Family and Community Nursing — the specialty of care in the home — with an official qualification from the Spanish Ministry of Universities and registered with the Colegio de Enfermeros de Las Palmas (the Las Palmas Nursing Council). Ten years of experience across hospital and primary care, a master's degree in patient safety and a mentor to resident nurses. Not a call centre or an app: a person with a name, a face and a professional registration who comes up to your apartment.
The sauna, with someone behind it
On the sauna page there are four ready-made circuits, from the gentle first-timer's to the classic Nordic. If you feel unwell during any of them — dizziness, a drop in blood pressure, whatever it may be — the apartment's healthcare service comes up to assess you. That is what no hotel spa gives you.
